The JJJJound Service Projects Cafeteria Mug is presented as a standalone object, positioned as an everyday essential rooted in food service utility.
Developed in collaboration with Service Projects, the mug references traditional cafeteria tableware, defined by its stackable form, durability, and standardized proportions. The silhouette remains unchanged, preserving its original function and familiarity.
Produced in kiln-fired porcelain, the mug is suitable for both microwave and dishwasher use. Its weight and finish align with institutional ceramics designed for repeated, long-term use. The incorrectly placed JJJJound logo references manufacturing errors and brings our sense of irony to the project.
The collaboration is set to launch Thursday, May 7th at 9 am EST on JJJJound.com.
