This JJJJound New Balance 990v4 release follows a made-to-order model. Pre-sale takes place well ahead of production, ensuring each pair is produced for the customer who secures a reservation, allowing more people the opportunity to purchase this special edition release, while supplies last.

The history of the Mushroom JJJJound
JJJJound’s history with New Balance is marked by strong collaborations on classic running silhouettes, each one reinterpreted through elevated design. From early 990 series icons to later evolutions, every release reflects a careful study of color. The mushroom colorway is an important one for this.
990v3
This first collaboration in 2018 marks the debut of the mushroom colorway on the 990v3, introducing a subdued color palette to sneakers, changing the sneaker landscape from there on.
992
Released in 2020, the 992 was the second sneaker Made in USA to receive the mushroom treatment.
991 UK
Released in 2023, the JJJJound New Balance 991 was the first time the mushroom colorway was featured on a made in UK model.
993
Released in early 2025, the JJJJound New Balance 993 was the fourth iteration of the mushroom colorway.

Purchases must be made before the preorder window closes. Once your order is placed, it is automatically processed and cannot be modified or cancelled. All orders are final sale and are not eligible for return.
All 990v4 collaboration orders are estimated to ship during the Fall 2026. We will provide updates on the status of your order and you will be notified as soon as a ship date is confirmed. Please note that we rely on manufacturer estimates and that this date is subject to change.
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number.
If needed, you may change your shipping address. However, the shipping address must be: a) Within the same state in the US; b) Within the same province in Canada or within the same international country. Please reach out to our client services to request an address change and to check for eligibility.
Terms of Service
These Preorder Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the placing of preorder ("Preorder") with JJJJound for apparel, footwear or other items you purchase from us ("Products"). Please read these Terms carefully before submitting your Preorder of any JJJJound Products. By submitting your Preorder, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
1. Placing Reservation Preorder
When placing a Preorder for JJJJound Products, you will be required to provide certain information, such as your address and billing information. You represent and warrant that all such information is accurate, and you shall ensure that such information is kept current. JJJJound shall have no responsibility or liability for inaccurate information or information that later becomes outdated, and shall have no obligation to make efforts to determine the correct contact or shipping information. No cancellations or modifications can be made.
2. Payment & Final Sale
You will be charged the full Price of the Products at the time of placing the Preorder. Your placing of a Preorder constitutes your express agreement to JJJJound of charging the full Price of the Products at such time and your agreement that this Preorder is a final sale for which refunds will not be offered, other than as expressly set forth in these Terms.
3. Delivery Schedule
Although we will make efforts to begin delivering Products as soon as they are available to ship, you understand and agree that there may be delays. Any estimated times of delivery are only estimates, are subject to change, and JJJJound does not represent or warrant that it will be able to ship the Product by the estimated date or in any order implied by a Preorder order number. As a result, in the event that a delay arises and the estimated shipment and/or release of the product is not met, you hereby consent to any such delay and agree that JJJJound is not responsible for any damages that may occur due to the delay, nor shall it be obligated, except as set forth in these Terms, to provide any discounts, refunds or credits due to any such delays.
4. Cancelation
You understand that JJJJound may decline to fulfill your Preorder or cancel your purchase for any reason. If JJJJound cancels your purchase for any reason you will receive a full refund of the purchase Price without interest (and you will not pay any processing fee), and you understand that you will not be entitled to anything else.
5. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances will JJJJound be held liable for any incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or related to this agreement. In the event JJJJound is held liable for any damages arising out of or related to this agreement, your sole and exclusive remedy will be the full refund of your purchase price without interest.
6. Age and Residency
You acknowledge that you are at least 18 years old.
7. Customer Information
We will use any information that we may collect about you only in accordance with our privacy policy.
8. Disclaimer
JJJJound disclaims any warranties, express or implied, with respect to the prototype product displayed by JJJJound, whether before or after you have placed the Preorder, and the final product, which is offered “as is”. You understand and agree that the product, its design and technical features are currently under development and that the product that may be available for purchase by you may be materially different from the prototype product.
9. Changes to the Terms
JJJJound reserves the right to change any of the terms for any or no reason. We will provide notice of any material changes.
10. Miscellaneous Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties pertaining to its subject matter and it supersedes all prior agreements, representations and understandings of the parties. These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada.
