In collaboration with JJJJound, Porter revisits two everyday carry archetypes, a messenger bag and a backpack, that defined a generation of commuters, cyclists, and students through the late 1990s and early 2000s. Both are returned to their original purpose and refined through considered material choices.
Yoshida & Co. has been manufacturing bags with a commitment to "Japan Made" ever since its establishment in 1935. Founder Kichizo Yoshida expanded his offering of hand-sewn bags with the launch of PORTER in 1962. The utilitarian line proposes timeless designs executed in quality materials and manufactured in Japan according to the highest standards of craftsmanship.
The collaboration reflects a shared attention to material integrity and restrained construction, carried across two enduring silhouettes built for daily movement.
