Made by MacAuslands Woolen Mills of Prince Edward Island, the only mill in Atlantic Canada still producing and focusing on traditional woolen blankets made from 100% virgin wool yarn. The products begin as raw wool sourced from the Atlantic provinces, to later be warped onto a loom. Sixteen hundred warp threads make up a blanket, each fed through a loom. The mill continues to use old-fashioned machinery to produce these top quality blankets.
