The Kanuk jacket is the official jacket of the 1990’s in the province of Quebec. From politicians, and lawyers to reporters on the 6 o’clock news, to mom and dad’s pulling up for parent teacher interviews. If you were in the know in Quebec that was your official jacket.

We approached Kanuk to bring back one of their Classic models the “Otarie”. To make these jackets we used deadstock fabrics leftover from previous years. Our pattern makers made a few minor tweaks to the design to modernize the fit. We brought in the shoulders and tweaked the collar shape by bringing down the collar. The campaign was shot in the JJJJound warehouse and features a mix of interesting Canadians from Quebec and Ontario.
